Teresa has spent over 30 years fighting for housing justice, economic development, and community empowerment. She believes Prichard deserves strong, transparent leadership that puts people first. Running for City Council is a natural extension of her lifelong commitment to service.
Her priorities include expanding affordable housing, improving public safety, increasing government transparency, creating jobs through economic development, and investing in youth programs. She is committed to building a stronger, more connected Prichard.
As a nationally recognized housing advocate, Teresa will push for stronger tenant protections, ensure developers follow fair housing laws, and expand homeownership opportunities. She has already helped secure over $10 million for housing justice—on City Council, she’ll do even more.
